Ready to explore your options, make goals, and meet them?
Adult Ed offers free college and career transition prep- helping students to become college ready by building up their reading, writing, math and study skills. We also help students navigate the entire process of finding & applying to programs, as well as applying for financial aid and scholarships.
If you aren't seeking to go back to school, but are looking for a career change, Adult Ed can also help with career counseling, and job searches- offering free support as you research, apply for, and transition to a new area of the job market.

High School Completion

Life happens. If you didn't finish high school, come see us about completion- it is never too late, and Adult Ed is here to help!
We offer flexible programming and support- you can prepare for and take your High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), or you can enroll in our diploma program, and we'll transfer in any credits you earned.

Supporting Your ADHD Kid

Join ADHD Coach Shannon Lindsay for a six-week course that will help you better understand your child's ADHD diagnosis and implement techniques to manage their symptoms and set your family up for success.
Planning and Paying for College

The earlier you start, the more confident and relaxed you will feel when it is time to apply for financial aid. Join Jessica Whittier, College Access Counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine, for this 1-hour workshop as we talk all things paying for college.
This workshop is offered by FAME in partnership with adult education programs across Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot and Washington Counties.
