We offer flexible programming and support- you can prepare for and take your High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), or you can enroll in our diploma program, and we'll transfer in any credits you earned.

Jadyn LaDeau will teach participants of this workshop how to make your own valentine print. Participants will learn the basics of Linocut printmaking by carving their own 4”x 6” linoleum block with their design, then will use their block to pull several prints by hand.

Looking for a cozy new craft this winter that will keep you warm? Feeling like you want to get back into knitting or learn some new skills? Lucia Daranyi will be teaching a three week class on how to make either a pair of socks or mittens (you pick!). Whether you’ve been Adulting for decades or are just getting started, banking basics, spending plans, credit scores and budgeting tools are available to make things a little bit easier. Scholarships can go a long way in helping students cover college costs, but being successful in the scholarship application process can take some work. In this session you’ll learn to build and work your own scholarship application plan. You’ll also learn about and try out different scholarship websites, learn how to best use a scholarship information tracker, and learn to avoid some of the challenges of the scholarship process. Students and parents interested in learning about the scholarship process can join Jessica Whittier, College Access Counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine for this 1-hour workshop as we talk scholarships.

Join Michelle Radley, College Access Counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine for this 1-hour workshop as we talk all things paying for college.

Join us for this two-day weekend workshop to make realistic paper flowers that will last long past spring! These flowers are made from crepe paper, florist wire and a variety of other materials. Starting with the simple cosmos, we will work our way from beginner designs to intermediate level crafting with designs like magnolia blossoms, daffodils, and others.

Ages 10 and up welcome!

In Adulting 102, we will look at the differences between saving and investing, and if you are ready to invest, how to get started.
